Common questions
Is ChooseAFinancialAdvisor.com free?
Yes. Searching, comparing, and reading our guides is free for everyone.
Do I need an account?
No. You can search, compare, and save advisors without one. A free account lets you build lists, keep private notes, score meetings, and save searches.
Where does the information come from?
From official public records that financial advisors and their firms are required to keep up to date. Our system brings that information together and turns it into simple profiles, and each profile links to the official record so you can double-check anything.
Do advisors pay to be listed or ranked?
Every registered advisor is listed free. Advisors can pay to be Featured, which highlights them only for searches within 10 miles of their office or in their city. Featured listings are always labeled, and all other results follow only your filters.
How do I contact an advisor?
Each profile shows the firm’s office phone, address, and hours. Many advisors offer a free first meeting.
